We did it! We had our very first Farmers & Friends Friday, and we hope you had as good a time as we did! If you didn’t make it, you can see in the gallery at the end of this post just how much fun we had and what you missed out on. Here’s Jill with one of our featured guests, Kai Cowell of Kaiulani Spices, and Gerald Boyer of Ginger & Smoke who does amazing things with his BBQ smoker. (We also featured Nozawa Farms, and Robert Nozawa came to represent his family later in the afternoon.)
The menu is still being finalized, but you can count on pickled goodness from Counter Culture, the best local asparagus from Twin Bridge and smoky ‘ono BBQ-ed Kualoa beef by Ginger & Smoke. We’ll be serving our full meal special for $25 (includes starter, green salad, main, dessert and beverage) and plate lunches for $14.50 (green salad, one choice main, one choice side) starting at 11AM. (No regular menu.) We’ll stay open until 6pm with live music. BYOB and kick back on our Farmstand lawn!
