We are excited to announce the launch of our new event series, Farmers & Friends Fridays!
On select Fridays, we host a special lunch menu, served between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., showcasing our featured farmer or friend’s goods. $25 includes a starter/salad, main dish, drink and dessert. Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the Barn on event day. Through the end of summer, Farmers & Friends Fridays will include an afternoon barbecue, beginning at 1 p.m., and pau hana live music from 4 to 6 p.m.
Inside the Barn, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., meet our friends,the wonderful farmers and artisans who provide us with amazing produce and delicious and delightful products. Talk story and learn how they farm or craft their products, the best way to use them, recipes and more!
The first Farmers & Friends Friday will take place on Friday, April 28, 2017, and feature Nozawa Farms and its sweet, non-GMO Kahuku corn, and Kai Cowell of Ka‘iulani Spices. (Be sure to stick around for bluegrass music by the North Shore Ramblers from 4 to 6 p.m.!) View the event posting to see the special menu. Our regular menu will be unavailable for the day, and food service begins at 11 a.m. (Sorry, no breakfast!)
A special retail-only Farmers & Friends Mother’s Day Marketplace is scheduled for Friday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring locally made artisanal goods, perfect for gifting.
Counter Culture, a Waialua-based farm producing organic crops and fermented foods, and Twin Bridge Farms will be featured on Friday, May 19.
