Instead of fighting the crowds to buy the latest gadgets, spend the day after Thanksgiving enjoying the peaceful Hale‘iwa countryside. Relax on the Red Barn Farmstand lawn, enjoy farm-fresh food and live music, and browse a curated selection of locally made food products and unique, artisanal goods. Special produce bags filled with seasonal items will be available for purchase to make it easy to add some fresh, green veggies to your post-Thanksgiving leftovers feast.
Bring a canned food item to contribute to the Farmstand’s food drive (all donations directed to the Hawaii Foodbank), and receive $1 off your prepared-food purchase. Bring in five cans or a five-pound bag of rice, and receive a $5 credit toward your purchase of $10 or more at the Red Barn. Special hours for Friday, November 24, will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Live bluegrass music from the North Shore Ramblers begins at 4 p.m. (BYOB permitted, but no outside food, please.)
