We are opening our pumpkin patch to keiki (and Halloween lovers of all ages!) for pumpkin picking on Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 22. Locally grown pumpkins from Twin Bridge Farm, our partner in the Red Barn Farmstand, will be available for purchase, $5 for a medium-size and $10 for a large-size. Admission is free, and Farmstand hours will be extended to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday. Depending on the crop harvest, the pumpkin patch may be open again the following weekend (October 28 and 29); follow us on social media to confirm. Enjoy the festivities on Saturday, October 21, when Uncle Wayne and the Howling Dog Band return with their Family Pau Hana for Red Barn’s Sunset Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., presented by The Family Hui. Families can enjoy a menu of $10 stew, chili or curry and rice bowls and the popular Red Barn hummus dip and veggie plate, in addition to other farm-fresh food. (BYOB permitted.) Keiki can be free to dance, sing and get loud with Uncle Wayne and the Band. Come to Sunset Saturday in Halloween costume and receive $1 off an entrée purchase (one discount per entrée purchase may be applied).
